Job Description:
Don't let the title of Inside Sales mislead you..... This is a very important role within our company. In this position you will have responsibilities for identifying, qualifying and successfully selling Interactive Voice Response (IVR) and Speech Recognition systems and services.
Primary Role and Responsibilities:
Working with both the sales department as well as the technical department, you will be responsible for selling turnkey IVR / Speech Recognition systems, as well as selling IVR hosted service offerings.
- Identify potential high value clients through individual lead generation as well as utilizing in-house marketing campaigns to generate new prospective clients.
- Work directly with prospective clients in understanding their business and technical needs for IVR systems or services.
- Develop quotes for prospective clients at the appropriate time in the sales cycle.
- Track and maintain appropriate sales progress using our CRM system and generate appropriate sales report activities.
- Prepare monthly sales forecasts
- Participate in on-going training to keep current on important technologies for the IVR Industry.
- Gather business intelligence regarding both client needs as well as industry trends in order to maintain a leadership role in our market.
- Maintain positive customer relations in order to increase sales and identify additional sales opportunities.
Background Qualifications
Industry
- Knowledge of computer systems (hardware and software) as a knowledge foundation.
- Experience / knowledge of PBX / Key systems or corporate communication systems are a plus.
- 1 - 2 years of inside sales experience required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills is an absolute requirement
- Excellent telephone skills
- Strong commitment to documenting sales progress in the CRM system
- Professional yet strong desire to "win"
- Prefer a Bachelor or Associate College Degree. The degree does not have to be a science or technical degree.

- Base Salary, $40,000 - $45,000 depending on experience
- Commission - graduated scale based on performance
